Over the course of the next week, over 180,000 homes and businesses across the county will be waking up to copies of Discover on their doormats, our latest Oxfordshire Adult Learning (OAL) part-time guide.
Readers will find hundreds of new courses inside, alongside insights from tutors into the subjects they teach and feedback from previous learners.
Starting this June, learners can get involved in subjects that inspire and challenge, help discover new hobbies, rediscover and develop old skills, or even start a path towards a completely new career.
OAL have brought a wider variety of subject areas than ever before, including new specialist classes such as genealogy, along with our continuing and extensive portfolio of language lessons, homecrafts, professional qualifications and much more.
Classes are designed with modern day routines in mind, with many taking place weekly in the evenings and weekends to avoid clashes with work and the school run. We also ensure to structure classes so that, if you start as a beginner, the next progression such as mixed ability or advanced is available to enrol on soon after.
And for anyone interested in improving English language or maths skills (maybe both?), with OAL you can enrol on a short course in Functional Skills and GCSEs, and it could even be free…
