Matthew Rylatt, Level 3 Plumbing and Heating Technician won the Best of Bicester (Apprentice of the Month) for December 2021.
Grant & Stone, who are a supplier of materials for us at Bicester, currently sponsor this award and provide a bag of goodies relevant to the learner’s qualification.
Graham Hill (Tutor) said:
“Matt initially was very quiet and subdued when he arrived in late September but very quickly settled and gained confidence becoming a fantastic member of the class, who contributes well and shows passion. He is highly regarded amongst his peers and staff around the centre.
He regularly completes tasks in his own time, making various items and bringing them in for feedback and ways to improve.
Matthew also was the only individual to gain 100% in his first exam (Health & Safety)”
The first ever Best of Bicester winner was Callum Scott, Level 2 Carpentry Apprentice. Mark Hurly his tutor said:
“Callum is a really hard-working conscious learner, who is always willing to assist others in tasks that he has already completed, and his work ethic is exceptional with the standards to match”
