Are you looking for an apprenticeship in Plumbing, Gas Engineering, Carpentry or Property Maintenance? Then look no further than the brand new Construction Skills Centre in Bicester, where Abingdon and Witney College have created a number of new apprenticeship places, available after Christmas.
Apprentices can be any age, so whether you have recently left school or college, or are an adult looking to retrain, then this could be the opportunity you are looking for. The Construction sector is growing rapidly across Oxfordshire, and demand for specialist tradespeople has never been higher, so a construction apprenticeship is a great way to enter a profession where your skills will always be in demand.
The experienced team at the Bicester Construction Skills Centre will help you find a company to employ you whilst you complete your apprenticeship, and will provide you with all the support you need during your training period. Apprenticeships delivered by Abingdon and Witney College have been graded “Outstanding” by Ofsted, so you know that you will be in safe and experienced hands.
Mark French, Head of the Construction Skills Centre said:
“The new Bicester training centre is a great facility for apprentices. It is fully kitted out with all the tools, equipment and training spaces that our apprentices will need to learn their trade. It’s a great opportunity for people of all ages who are wanting to start a career in the construction industry.”

If you are an employer willing to employ an apprentice, we’d also like to hear from you. There are a number of government incentives available at the moment, so this could be the perfect time to employ a new apprentice.
