As a plumber you will work to solve complex plumbing issues, getting a sense of fulfilment as you help customers each day with different problems.
Plan, select, install, service, commission, and maintain all aspects of plumbing and heating systems
As a plumbing apprentice you will gain knowledge of core plumbing system techniques, including planning, installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair techniques of cold water, hot water, central heating, above ground drainage or rainwater systems.
You will learn how to maintain domestic natural gas pipework systems and how to understand essential electrical components and control systems.
You will be taught transferable skills, including the ability to take responsibility for your own work, organise and oversee a programme of work, and how to manage resources.
You will complete the ACS elements in CCN1 (core gas safety) and CENWAT.
