What drove me to study at Abingdon & Witney College was the support network throughout the College.

From the academic support, physiological support and having a meeting with a past lecturer to show me what the College offered - it really helped me to settle in. The resources and courses showed a clear vocation for me due to the structure of the College, which suited my ability and how I work as a student.

I loved college; it made who I am today and I have my closest friends today because of studying there. The College and the support staff pushed me to do my best, convinced me to apply to University and when I found out I got in with an unconditional offer, the rest is history - I have just graduated Oxford Brookes with a First Class degree in Business and Management.

My advice it to make the most of College. Go for it, you develop so much over however long you spend there. They care and want the best for you and will push you to do your best.

Not only do you get a qualification out of it, you can make friends too. If you are nervous, there are so many people in the same situation as you, so don’t worry, get yourself in there and work hard. It will all come together.
