Wow - the first term is already over!
Congratulations to all our students for their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to the first term. It has certainly been a very different first term, that has presented more challenges than usual, but it hasn’t stopped any of our students from doing a fantastic job.
We caught up with some of our fabulous students, to find out their top tips for thriving in your first term:
Start assignments as soon as you get them. Don’t leave them until last minute as that’s when you’ll struggle - Benjamin
Just to make sure you go through notes as much as possible and catch up on everything if you miss anything - Liam
Make time for some extra reading. If you want to get merits and distinctions, you have to provide evidence of additional reading and research outside of the lectures (in my course anyway, it may be different for others). It's better to start assignments as soon as they have been set as you may find that the assignments take longer than you expect. Also, if you have any questions about the lectures or assignments, don't be shy to ask your tutors - Thomas
