Abingdon & Witney College host our busiest June open day on record
2023 has been a busy year for our college admissions team with an unprecedented number of students applying to join the college for the next academic year. So, it was no surprise to see so many people join us across our two main campuses for the June Open Day
More than 300 visitors came to see us on Wednesday evening, all receiving a friendly welcome at the sign in desk, before they began to explore our college and what we could do for them.
Staff and student ambassadors were on hand to offer help and advice, and importantly demonstrate what life could be really like for any new students who decide to join us next year. The evening also featured interactive demonstrations and exhibitions, giving visitors a taste of the exciting and innovative learning experiences available at Abingdon & Witney College. From engineering to sport, there was something for everyone to explore and discover.

There was also plenty of support on hand. Our careers advisors, SEND and student support teams were busy all evening sharing their knowledge and passion.
Overall, the open evening was a great showcase of the college's commitment to providing high-quality education and training that equips students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
