Abingdon & Witney College are delighted to share that one of our Level 3 Barbering students has achieved the title of Lee Stafford Education Master Stylist.
“Achieving a BIG 10 (our Michelin Star equivalent) in all 22 Lee Stafford Education (LSE) hair recipe is a huge challenge for even the most experienced college hair trainer. Paula is our first ever student to be given the BIG 10 opportunity and not only did she successfully complete them all, she did it in a record speed and to a standard that blew the LSE assessors away. All proof that the LSE training really does work and that Paula is more than ready for the world of work. Congratulations Paula, we are all so proud of you ♥️” - Lee Stafford.
In January 2023, student Paula Breakspear was awarded the title of ‘Lee Stafford Education Master Stylist’. Paula has been a student at the College for several years, completing our College courses in Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing and Barbering before starting her current course.
Having perfected three Lee Stafford signature recipes during her hairdressing courses, Paula approached Lee Stafford and requested the challenge of passing the recipes to the ‘Big 10’ standard. Lee Stafford's recipes are his step by step guides to creating each haircut, ensuring consistent replication of his quality and precision. The ‘Big 10’ is achieved when a stylist can create all 22 Lee Stafford hair recipes to a LSE approved perfect standard. To assess this, each hair recipe is videoed and graded by Lee Stafford Education. This is the same standard that all College trainers and tutors in Lee Stafford Education providers are required to train to.
With Lee Stafford’s support, Paula started completing the recipes in July 2022 and by January 2023, she had completed the 22 recipes to an extremely high standard. As recognition of this incredible achievement, Paula has been awarded the title of 'Lee Stafford Education Master Stylist' and Lee will personally present her with a pair of golden scissors; an award only given to those who can perform Lee’s Signature recipes to his standard.
