Biography

Fay Croft has a wealth of experience working in higher, further, adult and continuing education over many years. She has led partnership initiatives to develop and support educational progression for all those with the potential to benefit – particularly non-traditional students for whom progression might not be expected.

Her experiences as a mature student, and earlier work in local government, have fostered her commitment to social equality and justice, and inclusivity in education.

Fay has worked at the University of Southampton, Oxford Brookes, Reading University and the University of the West of England. Her roles have included partnerships with schools and colleges, including Abingdon & Witney College.

Fay has lived in Abingdon since 2001. She enjoys keeping fit, gardening, cooking, good music (blues and rock) and dancing Ceroc.
