PRINTABLE STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE: Logging in and finding your apps
Microsoft Teams is used on most courses. It can be used to message your tutor and other students. This video tours the Teams interface and introduces channels, chat and tabs. Please speak with your tutor about how much Teams will be used on your specific course.
Teams is used to deliver most live video teaching. Here's how to participate in a live session.
If you have a problem with your college account, for example you are unable to log into the main college website, you need to contact the college IT support team by emailing helpmeit@abingdon-witney.ac.uk. Your tutor will not be able to help you login if you have forgotten your login details, which is why you need to contact the IT helpdesk direct.
If you have a problem with your device, for example getting up and running on a phone or tablet, please speak with your tutor first as they may already be familiar with the issue. You can also contact the digital learning team by emailing digital.learning@abingdon-witney.ac.uk.
When you are emailing a support team, always provide as much information as you can about the problem. For example, if you are trying to access TEAMS but are unable to, what is the error message on the screen? Are you on a laptop or a mobile phone? Was it working for you last time you logged in, and when was that?
