This is a 30 week evening course covering the theoretical aspects of plant growth, propagation and development at level 2. Students have the opportunity at the end of the course to sit the Royal Horticulture Society's exam: Certificate of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development which is part of the RHS Diploma in Horticulture. Come and join a group of horticultural enthusiasts and develop your knowledge of horticulture.

The course follows the RHS syllabus for the level 2 certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development and students will have the opportunity to sit these examinations in June if they wish.

Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.

19+ Reduced Fee

Students who successfully pass the examinations will receive the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development
Group discussions and lectures. Formal examinations in June for those students wishing to gain the RHS level 2 certificate. Each of the 4 units is assessed by an exam. All 4 exams are held on the same day.
