A class for new mums (and their babies) of all abilities to gently and safely return to fitness after birth.
Exercising together, each class will include low impact cardio work to raise the heart rate, followed by exercises to safely strengthen and tone each major muscle group so your body can cope with the demands of being a mum. The session will finish with a cool down and short guided relaxation to help with your overall wellbeing. We will learn the importance about restoring your core and pelvic floor, discussing any issues and working through some basic exercises.
As a group we will learn more about the role nutrition plays in our health, discuss the benefits of different healthy eating plans, take away a few recipes, and look at what foods are vital to help with the body’s post birth recovery.
Please bring a towel and bottle of water for re-hydration.
Please note there will be no teaching sessions on 03/05/2021 and 31/05/2021
