Progression onto the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

- Placement secured (Voluntary or paid)
- A good standard of written and spoken English (The option to complete additional qualifications in English or maths may be available and will help progression)
- A clear DBS check
- Successful interview
Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on a practical placement as this is an important part of the assessment process and involves evaluating skills in real working situations.

Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.

On completion of this course, you will receive a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning

All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods which could include: written assignments or tasks such as designing a leaflet or booklet, charts or diagrams or setting up an information board. Workplace assessments will also take place.
To gain this qualification the learner will need to:

• Pass all mandatory units meeting set criteria
• Show competence in a real work environment
• Complete a minimum of 160 hours work in an Educational setting.
