A follow-on course from the Learn how to be a life coach - introduction and a good starting point to learn more about the concept of Life Coaching and how it can help you in life. You will learn the latest techniques from a Certified Business and Life Coach with many years’ experience in this field. She has worked with over 300 trainee coaches to help them discover how they can break free from their own inner negative thoughts and not only help themselves achieve more but also help others.

No formal qualifications needed but an open mind and a need to improve yourself, and help others is always important on this type of course. Plus, a desire to examine new models & methods for moving yourself forward. Learning a new way of looking at ourselves and how to recognise the personality types of those around us. Why not come along and meet new lerners and develop your new-found skills in a safe environment.

You will learn the latest tools to help yourself achieve your own goals. Plus look at the behaviour of others using DISC methods. Get to know yourself, before helping others find themselves. Plus, you will try out some of the examples of good goal setting -short-term and long-term goals.

Enjoy watching the greats online, in action and learn from them. Lots of fun sessions to give you a good feel for this subject. A good chance to try this new exciting field, in a fun and safe environment. Books and YouTube – quoted on course.

This course offers an opportunity to learn life coaching traits and the skills needed to coach. Explore the rules of the game, money and how to coach around it. How to diagnose others needs and utilise good listening skills. Being an attendant when looking at Past – Present – Future. Find out about the DISC Model and how it works and discover your own DISC profile. Review the latest YouTube videos and blogs - Anthony Robbins and Lisa nicholls, the Secret film and discussion. When to use the GROW Model, gain rapport and get past your blocks. Identify some time management tools. Use the Wheel of Life, Mind Maps to coach others and ourselves and put your new skills into action in a fun environment.

It will be a friendly, fun course with lots of guided, inclusive sessions in a safe environment.

Please note there will be no teaching session on 02/06/2021.

Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge.
In order to reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles/cups, there is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.

There are no entry requirements for this course, although ideal if you have attending the introductin course.

Courses can fill fast, so please enrol early to avoid disappointment. Decisions on whether a course is to run are made two weeks prior to the start date - an email will be sent to you should there be changes to your course or if it is cancelled. Please check your inbox leading up to your course, including the junk folders. For anyone without an email account, our Admissions team will phone you instead.

For the first week of the course you will need to bring a valid form of identification; this includes passport, driving licence, debit/credit card, Birth Certificate or National Insurance card.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2020 prior to starting the course.
Courses offered by the college are fully or partly funded by the Government and the published fee takes account of this funding.

Before starting a course, the College is required to check you meet conditions relating to that funding, e.g. age, residency status within the UK/EEA, prior qualification level and employment status. In some circumstances (such as with online enrolments), these checks can only be completed after you have enrolled and paid.

If you are unable to pay in full for this course at the time of enrolment, and the course tuition fee is £300 or more, an instalment plan is available. If this is your preference, please do not enrol online but rather call the Admissions Team on 01235 216400 to enrol.

Once enrolled, Admissions will take the first instalment payment from you and pass on your details to the Finance team who will email you to set-up your payment plan. Please return a fully completed instalment plan to Finance as failure to do so could result in being withdrawn from your course.

As this is a non-accredited course, there is no formal qualification. However, you will be asked to complete activities that demonstrate how you are progressing on your course.
This course includes informal assessment methods such as question and answer sessions. The tutor will provide informal feedback and you will be required to complete some assessment paperwork.
