Abingdon & Witney College works in partnership with Lee Stafford and is proud to be home to the only Lee Stafford Hair & Beauty Academy in Oxfordshire. If you’re interested in a career in a salon environment, there’s no better place in Oxfordshire than the Lee Stafford Academy.

This exciting course at the Abingdon campus will allow you to develop your creative practical skills and teach you the theory alongside the practical units. Students will learn specially designed ‘recipes’ which are unique to Lee Stafford Education, reflecting some of the most cutting-edge styles seen in salons across the UK. This qualification has been specifically designed to enable learners to build on existing knowledge and understanding of hairdressing and develop an enhanced repertoire of technical skills to prepare learners for employment as a senior hairdresser/stylist. Learners will work in, and have their hairdressing skills assessed in a 'real' commercial salon.
In the Hair Studio you will have access to excellent industry-standard resources such as Redken. The enrichment side to the course opens more doors for you. Why not learn how to complete spray tans and Gelish, the list goes on. We offer so many different enrichment courses so you can gain lots of information and practical skills whilst you’re studying with us.

These are the typical units you will study over the duration of the course:
Promote additional services or products to customers
Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
Provide hairdressing consultation services
Creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques
Colour hair using a variety of techniques
Provide colour correction services
Creatively dress long hair
Develop and enhance creative hairdressing skills
