Gel Nail Extensions or Enhancements

During this course, you will learn about the function and structure of the natural nail and every aspect of gel nail extensions, including:

Preparing the natural nail.
How to fit, apply and blend in nail tips.
The correct application of gel.
Buffing and finishing to create beautiful natural looking gel enhancements.
We will also discuss the different types of nail treatments, all of which are available to learn on separate courses.

Prior to the start date you will need to purchase a gel nail kit in order to complete this course. Basic gel nail kits, excluding a curing lamp, can be purchased for as little as £30 from www.amazon.co.uk. You will have to add a curing lamp for approximately £40. You might want to invest in a more comprehensive kit for around £95 from www.edgenails.co.uk/uv-gel-kit-with-lamp.html. Please wait for course confirmation before purchasing any equipment.

There will be no class on 03/05/2021.

Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge.
In order to reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles/cups, there is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.
