This course is designed for those who already work, or wish to work, as teachers/trainers in the lifelong learning sector.

An industry standard award for anyone involved in training in the post 16 sector providing the first steps towards gaining a recognised teacher training qualification. It is an introductory qualification for those who are about to embark on any form of teaching or training and who need to gain a basic toolkit of teaching and learning strategies. Entry is subject to an interview.

Students can progress onto the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
An interview is required
Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.
