Note regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19): Due to the nature of our Online and On Campus courses, with key concepts being taught online through high-quality video lectures, students are able to continue their studies seamlessly with social distancing in place. Some of the regular ‘On Campus’ lessons can be replaced by remote ‘virtual classroom’ sessions led by college tutors. This flexible approach can be easily adapted to suit government guidance and college policies.

We understand the pace of everyday life is getting faster for individuals, which is why we have developed new ways of teaching – which makes easier to study alongside work and life commitments.

We want to provide courses that fit with students, rather than the other way around. With this in mind, Abingdon & Witney College have worked in partnership with Mindful Education to create a suite of blended learning courses to make learning more flexible. The course combines online learning with professional digital media content with face to face lessons in the classroom. This course allows students much greater freedom over how, when and what they learn, enabling those who previously could not have committed to a full AAT Level 3 course on campus to achieve this by studying course content on their own device.

The internationally recognised AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification enables those working in accounting and to gain knowledge, practical experience and that all-important certification.

The Level 3 course covers a range of key areas, including:
• Advanced Bookkeeping
• Final Accounts Preparation
• Management Accounting: Costing
• Indirect Tax
• Ethics for Accountants
• Spreadsheets for Accounting
• Advanced Diploma Synoptic Assessment.

Students also develop business communications and lifelong learning skills, applying what they learn on the course to the wider industry context.
Successful completion of this course offers progression to the Level 4 AAT Diploma
Level 2 AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting or equivalent. Students without formal qualifications but with significant relevant experience are encouraged to apply and will be offered a short interview. A good standard of English and maths is required.
Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.

There are bursaries available to help you with other course cost, call 01235 216 298 for more information.

The 19+ full fee button displays the full fee that may apply, the rules on fee reduction are complicated and we would encourage you to talk to our Admissions staff on 01235 555 585 to discuss your options. Also see the Course Fees & Finance page by searching Fees and bursaries link at the top of the screen.
