The purpose of this programme is to learn how to give yourself a simple massage. Self-massages bring us back in balance, whatever we are experiencing. It increases circulation, stimulates organ function, helps our body detox and improves sleep. It also has another potential anti-ageing benefit by nourishing our skin.
"The programme will introduce health benefit of some essential oils (e.g., lavender, peppermint, tea tree, lemon), please bring your favourite essential oils. The participants will also need massage oil or cream. This can be baby oil or prescribed moisturizing cream (Sebamed, double base gel). Please make it sure to conduct a patch test at least 30 minutes before the start of our first session. This will help you minimize the chance of a negative reaction: apply a small amount of your essential oils and massage oil (or moisturising cream) you will be using on the inside of your wrist. If you noticed a reaction (e.g., redness and itchiness), please follow the instruction of the products you used and consult healthcare provider appropriately. The programme covers the following: - Ear reflexology - Hand massage - Shoulder massage - Head massage - Arm stretch and massage - Pressure point on the back "
